I know it's a bit early for me to get controversial, but I think it's time I made my personal opinion on this conflict quite clear.
I am pro-life.
I do not, however, believe that illegalizing abortion is going to solve anything.
I also believe that if you call yourself "pro-life", and all you do is protest abortion, you're lying to yourself and everyone else. Being pro-life is not just about praying in front of abortion clinics and signing petitions to Congressmen. It's about helping people make the right choice for both mother and child. If you are pro-life, then you have officially defined yourself as someone who wants to help mankind protect all lives to the best of our ability. It's time to start living up to that definition.
To those of you who are honestly pro-life, thank you.
To all of you who claim a right to the pro-life banner but use it merely as a platform for your anti-abortion campaign, stop lying and pick a different banner, because you're starting to annoy me.
